Option Results for Aug10

This month I rolled out 2 PM Covered Call options that would have resulted in the stock being called away from me although at a price greater than my basis.  I wrote about the PM roll in an earlier post.  The short comment is that rolling out the PM contracts allowed me to collect some additional premium, increase my strike price and allows me to retain the stock and continue to receive the dividends.  Those that I rolled out are shown as BTC (Bought to Close) in the Result column and have already been written about in prior posts.

The expired options listed below represent a total of $1,267.91 in option premiums, some of which may have been rolled out from prior months.   Here are the summarized results:

I include those options that I rolled out during the month to present a more complete picture of the option transactions that I originally sold for expiration this month.

Over the next few days I will sell and write about new Covered Call transactions for those stocks that show expired or assigned.
