I should say something here as a follow-on about my fear of another margin call yesterday. As I hoped, the market did indeed help me out.  Today should have helped even more.   I was able to roll out and up the AMD calls because of the increase in value of my taxable account.

I BTC 2 AMD Feb08 7 Calls and rolled out and up by STO 2 AMD Jul08 8 Calls for a net deposit of 93.01 in my taxable account.  My basis is $16.81 for this stock. I did not anticipate (obviously) AMD coming rebounding as much as it has the past few weeks, especially with the [...]
